SCLC Christian Education Conference on 10th May 2025 from 9:30 am - 2:30 pm
Christ-centred alternative education for children of primary and secondary school age
Christian Education Conference 2025 is a huge opportunity to hear from those who are at the forefront of education here in our nation.
Steve Beegoo, Head of Education for Christian Concern, is leading the frontline in challenging the government's ideas on education in schools, home-education & Christian schools.
Robin Millar is fresh from his time in parliament having served as an MP and played his part in stopping the Gender Recognition bill in Scotland.
Hear great testimonies from Beth Sayers & Nigel Steele who have experience in Christian education on the ground. Hear how it can be done and of the joys that come from having taken that step of faith.
Come and learn about one of the hottest issues the church is facing today and understand how you can play your part in ensuring that our children's children continue to learn about the everlasting mercy and salvation of our Lord.
Deciding on how to educate your child as a Christian parent is no small feat. Sophia Christian Learning Centre is a Christian alternative to mainstream schooling based in Coventry but it is not a school. You can rest assured that your child will receive a high-quality, Christ-centred education that prepares them to thrive well in the future.
Based on God’s truth, our vision is to form within the child a character that is first pleasing to God, but also of great use to our society, upholding God’s wisdom as a most prized possession.
We support families to raise children who are:
gentle in conduct, speech, and thoughts.
eager to work with others and seek out common ground.
empathetic, genuine, and sincere in all matters surrounding their lives.
showing good fruits for their work in their learning and playing.
Unlike mainstream schools, the curriculum we use allows your child to progress through the various stages at their own pace. They will be able to take ownership of their learning and master each stage before advancing to the next.
SCLC does not exist to take on the sole responsibility of educating your child. Instead, SCLC partners with parents to ensure that their children's education is facilitated at home as well. This proactive approach is vital in ensuring that children make the desired progress.
